Last week, Willow Dale Elementary went all out in pink for its Student of the Month assembly. Students, staff, and families wore pink in solidarity to support a cure for breast cancer, while also cheering on students who had an amazing month at school.
Families were invited to join their children as we recognized students who have shown kindness, effort, and leadership in our school community. It was a special moment to look out and see so many proud parents and caregivers in the audience, celebrating right alongside their children.
The sea of pink was a powerful reminder that our school community comes together for causes that matter, and that the character we celebrate in our students, including compassion, caring, and community spirit, shows up in all of us.
Congratulations to all of our Students of the Month, and thank you to the families who joined us and wore pink in support. We are so proud of our students and grateful for a community that shows up for them.
