Our young scholars are pursuing something remarkable in our schools. This week, elementary and middle schools began forming their own robotics teams. Students have started an engaging journey into building LEGO robots, exploring hands-on engineering, problem-solving, and teamwork.
Through this program, students gain more than basic construction skills. They develop critical thinking, practice collaboration, and learn the value of trial and error as they refine their designs.
This effort shows our district’s ongoing commitment to real-world learning that encourages curiosity and innovation. Observing students work together, solve problems, and celebrate small successes has inspired teachers and staff.
We look forward to seeing how these emerging engineers develop and what robots they create in the coming weeks. Watch for more updates—including the upcoming robotics competition at Klinger Middle School.
