On Friday, March 22, 2024, over 100 Klinger Middle School students participated in the annual mini-THON as dancers or spectators. The Student Council and Builders Club organized the event, choosing music, dances, games, and projects to assist the dancers in lasting three hours on their feet.
All proceeds go to the Four Diamonds - a charity founded by the parents of Christopher Millard who lost his life to cancer. Four Diamonds is on a mission to conquer childhood cancer.
This charity covers 100 percent of all medical expenses related to cancer care not covered by insurance for eligible Four Diamonds children. Because of the community’s steady and generous support, Four Diamonds has assisted 100 percent of the childhood cancer patients who have been treated at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital.
Since its creation in 1972, Four Diamonds has helped more than 4,800 children and families and supported a diverse platform of childhood cancer research at Penn State Hershey Medical Center and Penn State College of Medicine, seeking improved treatments and cures to benefit kids around the world.
Collectively, the Klinger community raised $ 6,712.00+ for the Four Diamonds Foundation. Our top three fundraisers were Giulana Lynch, Nicoletta Vafiadis, and Gavin Sanders. Congratulations to all the dancers! FTK (For the Kids)

Dear Families:
Get ready! The Scholastic Book Fair is coming our way (YAY!). Choosing their books empowers kids and inspires them to become lifelong readers. AND—as always—every purchase at the Fair benefits our school.
Here’s what you need to know about the big event, which will take place from:
March 4 - March 8 in our Klinger Library
Say goodbye to cash and hello to eWallet—your child’s digital payment account. Before the Fair, set up eWallet for worry-free, cash-free purchases. Anyone can contribute! Share each child’s eWallet so friends and family can add funds and give your kids more books to enjoy. Students can still purchase books with cash as well.
If you can’t attend the Fair, shop at our school’s Book Fair online. All orders ship directly to your home, and shipping is free for book orders over $25. Every online purchase will also benefit our school.
Visit our Book Fair homepage to learn more and get started with eWallet and online shopping.
The countdown to more book joy is on! Catch you at the Fair!
Happy reading,
