Welcome to Willow Dale Elementary School!
My name is Dan Julius. It has been my pleasure to serve as an Assistant Principal in the Centennial School District for the past eighteen years. I am excited each year to find new experiences interacting with the students and families, and I am most excited this year to continue working with the Willow Dale community!. Please find below a brief recap of some experiences I have had prior to coming to the Willow Dale/Log community in the fall of 2003.
I attended West Chester University and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education. I began teaching in the Cheltenham and Norristown School Districts at both the high school and middle levels. In addition to teaching, I enjoyed coaching basketball and sponsoring events to raise money for children with special needs. I obtained a Master of Education degree in Mathematics Education from Arcadia University and followed up with a second Master’s degree in Educational Administration from the same institution. Along the way, I began performing administrative work at the middle level at East Norriton Middle School. In 1999, I accepted a job as Dean of Students at William Tennent High School, and from there went to Council Rock High School South as the school’s first Senior Class Principal and Athletic Director.
After two years at Council Rock, I was ecstatic to come to Log College. In 2016, I was afforded the great opportunity to join the Willow Dale community - an experience for which I am truly grateful! I have always enjoyed the many interactions I have with students, families, and teachers each and every day, and I know that my time here at Willow Dale will be just as rewarding as my previous experiences in the district. When I am not at Willow Dale, I enjoy spending time with my kids as much as possible.
